I arrived to the institute late and this is my second day here. So far things been great and already I wish I was here sense day one. This Experience had been nothing but an eye opener I love the vibe that all the students and staff bring when they are working together. Yesterday was a tiring but very interesting day, we went to the aquarium and spent time looking at all sorts of creatures that live under water we also went to the Hatfield Center and we learned about crabs, In the beginning I was somewhat terrified of them but with the help of my team I got over that and next thing you know I was grabbing them and playing around with them, It was a great experience to get the inside look about the ocean and all the stuff that was included in that. After we got the chance to play on the beach, I had a great time with everyone and I interacted with people who I didn’t before and next thing I knew friendships were built in a blink of an eye, I also enjoyed the ride home there was many of my peers “Fist Pumping” and staff as well, although I wasn’t fist pumping I enjoyed the vibe they were bringing in. Overall I believe this opportunity should be open a lot more to more students, It helps them not be to lost or terrified with the word “College” when I got here I had no idea what college I wanted to go to, and didn’t know which ones offered what I needed for example nursing now, thanks to the staff and the different people from different colleges I have an idea what college would be great for me. I do believe students should have more of this and if there’s a next year count me in, I’m here.  Thank you to all the staff for their help and making these past days great.

Sergio Wednesday

The day at the beach was pretty fun. We went to the Newport aquarium and saw lots of cool animals. After that we went to some workshops that were tons of fun, but the fun didn’t end there. All of us went to beach. Everyone had fun and so did i. I wasn’t planning on getting wet at all and I didn’t take any extra clothes, but in the end I ended up getting wet all over in the water. It was extremely cold and even after we left the beach we went to eat pizza at a nearby park. The day was a relaxing day. On the way home we were all very exhausted but full of memories we had that day.

Yennefer, wednsday

Hello people, I’m Yenefer I’m goanna talk about the day at the beach.

It was a wonderful fun day driving to the beach because I didn’t felt shy no more practicing a little dance with my group. We danced against other groups when they wanted to win us. I had a very good time. I feel really energetic because   I wasn’t tired yet even when we left the beach to come back to OSU. Also I had a good time with Jacky. We got only our feet wet at the beach but unfortunatelysq  the water rise to our knees we screaming,  and laughed , because we didn’t really thought that the water was going to go above our knees. The last thing we did was talk about our problems, but still had a lot of funJ. Ivan A. (my cousin) and me kept poking each other because when he started poking me I would tell him I was going to get him back and  I poked him back and he gets me back which it almost looked like if we were dancing in circles when I grad him by his arm it was very funny. HAHAHA….

Wanted to say thank you to my group for participating in the mini dances in the van and everyone else for being there for everyone.

Pedro I just wanted to say thank you for the fun week and of course at the beach when I ask you to get in the picture and taking it. Also talking to me and Jacky.  Once again THANKS!!!! J J J

Well this day I learn a lot about colleges and I actually decided what I want to do after I graduate and I learn a lot interesting things and I practice for my bad magic show (comedy) it was fun and I’m excited  about it …

Vanessa, wednsday

Yesterday I had lots of fun. First we went to the Marine science room. We were there looking at crabs and learning about them. I got to hold them and one almost snap my finger but I got to move my finger before it did. That crab was very small but had attitude lol. We went to Newport beach, we were there for about 3hours. When we got there I was very happy but I didn’t want to get wet because it was very cold day to swim.

In Wednesday 03 I’ve had a nice day with the staff of O.S.U and the students. We went to the aquarium where I saw some animals that I never saw before and also it was my first time in an aquarium I was exciting

Later we went to eat at a park where was cold so when I told to Yessy that I was cold she said go to stand under the sun but I didn’t go so she and other guys went to play volley ball then  I wasn’t cold and some people began to dance with David

 Then we went to sandy beach to have a nice time, the water was cold but it didn’t matter because many people got in even me!

I liked when I was waiting for waves and they pushed me out I really enjoyed it

 Yesterday I had fun at the aquarium And the beach was just a blur to me because I was so tired and I just went to sleep. I would like to thank all those chefs for making me food. I would also like to thank my facilitators Yanele, German, and last and definitely not  least David
